Hello
Here is my latest walkman
It is a philips skymaster, and I was thinking it
was a skyliner
, the seller did wrap
the walkman super well, the box was really huge!!
Here are some pictures:
The box as it did arive with the mailman
:
The box without the wrapping paper:
The box open with the headphones hidden somewhere
under the newspapers
The bubbelsplastic wrap around the walkman?
The walkman unwrapped from all the bubbels:
The walkman itself without the pouch:
Tha walkman open:
Walkman top with where you can see written D6611 stereo
So I am happy now
, also because the walkman does
look rather good without any dents and stuff
It is amazing how huge these philips walkmans
are!
, it does make me believe that the
guy who did design these walkmans must have had
some physical isues
Wow, you got it! this is fantastic, and you're right, the designs in the Sky Liners and Sky Masters are pretty good, specially, I love the dark blue tone in the plastic cases of these walkmans, looks very fine.
You're very lucky to get these walkmans, I hope you can collect the complete Sky Liner / Sky Master series. Today I go for another PHILIPS and may be I can upload photos this evening.
Have a nice day and enjoy your PHILIPS !!!
I was thinking about collecting philips/aristona/erres walkmans!
I think it would be nice to have the old ones
from the early years
Photos?
In the beginning, I start to collect only SONYs, but due to many opportunnities of purchase some beauty Walkmans, I start to buy AIWAs and SANYOs. Now I don't miss the opportunnity to collect any brand because each day is more hard to find cassette portables. But my priority remains speccially the oldest ones. I do not collect Walkmans looking too much newer.
My personal favourites are sanyo and toshiba
I like them better as the sony ones
