What a beautiful walkman!
And it does look like new
, the video is
also really fantastic as I never did see such a
awai walkman in action
Hee!, there is a name on that walkman!
can you rub it off?
I has these really cool obnoxious cluks and clicks
because of the use of magnets for engaging and disengaging the transport.

Good catch, The guy who originally bought this unit had his name and address professionally carved in the metal on the back so I removed those pictures. I guess he thought "death do use part"
Is it possible to remove that name?, I think
you should!!
maybe paint it or so?
Very nice!!! Congrats,it is awesome you saved another walkman from certain death.
One of my favourites. Almost the perfect Walkman in my mind. Credit to you for having a go at fixing it. This is one unit I'd never go inside.
I have a similar one but it does seem
on my one the buttons are in a different place!

Turn it over
I mean, on my walkman the buttons are not on the top but on the side where on that walkman they
on the top
I have just rescued one of these from the dead today... needed a new belt and lot of solder, the switches needed cleaning but all in all its working and it sounds awsome.
I love this walkman, I have a few Aiwas, but this one with logic controls and a 5 band eq is great in my books...
An awsome walkman very fine design!!
