Hello
Behold my latest new walkman, it is probably the
most tiny walkman ever!?, I was very lucky to get
it this complete in the box with all the things
with it
, it is not new but used but the
previous owner did take very good care of it so
it still does look and work like new!
Here are some pictures:
Box
The box in the box which does look like a book!:
The ox open with all the nice things
The nice walkman itself
The other side of the walkman with volume knob:
Here are the play and rewind knobs:
ANd here is the manual:
Here is the tiny walkman open with all the
technology:
And here are the nice 80s blocks in the walkman
Here is the recorder pack with which you can
record music and stuff:
Here is the tuner pack for listening to the
radio within
Here is the tuner and recorder pack next to each
other :
And here is the tiny walkman next to a regular
(but rather nice walkman tape
)
Here is the tiny walkman next to a huge walkman
for size comparison
Another one
It did take the walkman 4 weeks to travel to
Holland!, and the reason was that the (idiot)
customs here did take it because they wanted
more money from me
while I did pay
for fast shipping!, I think I will file a complaint
with these mighty idiots
The walkman does play really well for such a
tiny walkman!, and the tuner pack does work
really nice also, but I did not try the recorder
pack yet but I will do tomorrow or so.
I am really really happy with this walkman
because I think it is also rather rare?.
Oh man, that's beautiful
Yeah!
I was very lucky (and fast) to get it
On the pictures there seem to be tiny scuffs on the
window, but they are very hard to see in in real!
Ooh, nice.
I like the way the Play, Stop, etc. lettering looks so big, because it's so small.
Hitachi went big on components/modules in their stuff for a while (Like the CP90 b-box)
That would look cool playing one of those reel-type tapes.

I will try to take a little vidoe with a nice reel tape in it
tommorrow!

Thank you guys!
Oh I did not realize that I did write video
wrong!
I think when I would have waited 5 more minutes
when the walkman was posted on ebay someone else
would have it now!, I think many peoples love this
walkman, me also
Hi Nicolle, that tiny unit looks amazing! It kind of reminds me of the little Toshiba that Buzz has. Can we see a pic of it with a tape in it?
Wow... very nice, Glad to see your new adquisition eh. Is really small, It is more small than the AIWA HS-P202? In its case, is very very impressive and looks to be a great pocket-player. The accesory case is very impressive too, and the look of all this stuff is great. CONGRATULATIONS AGAIN. You are the best!
Here in my country we said BIEN HECHO !
Thank you guys
Here are some pictures with a tape in it and
next to the aiwa hsp202 walkman so you can
seeagain how tiny this walkman is!
Here next to the aiwa walkman:
Here is a little video from the hitachi
walkman, enjoy!

Hi walkgirl
congratulations on a rare boxed find
Never seen this before but now its now on my want list,i like it for its small size and tiny cass tuner, simmilar in size to my toshiba where the cassette sticks out.
happy
Your new CP-88 is beautiful! I have never seen a Walkman so small... smaller than the cassette! (Amazing!) I especially like the original book-style carry case with the owner's manual, soft case, recording pack and tuner pack. You were really lucky to find this one. I'm sure you will enjoy listening to it for hours and hours!
Oh yes... "The Final Countdown"... excellent choice.
