Here is my latest purchase. A really nice aiwa sr-92. You won't find many of these for sale on ebay, i've seen one for sale in the last two years without it's box or accesorise. They are very rare indeed. Basically, it's an anniversary edition of the HS-RX703. The sticker you see on the box and unit was only put on the sr-92. Maybe this unit was made to celebrate Visit Asia Year 92, but i am not sure.

The box is a bit tatty, but the unit itself is in mint condition. I don't think it has been used very often. All of it's functions work perfectly. All it's accesorise are included, including it's original adapter which is not pictured. The word rare is used far to often on ebay these days, but i think it's true to say that this unit is a true rarity. I don't think many were made. Okay, so i paid about 150 euro for this one. But i think it was money well spent.

I just love aiwa walkmans. Especially the limited edition models. This one will take pride of place in my collection.

Hi ya Minty, now THAT is a unusual rare find never heard of one or seen one.  Great brushed gold box.  Certainly a worthy center of attention in the showcase.  And great to listen too.
