This is Dutchdude from Holland. I just joined this great site. Want to share my luck with you guys...just became owner of a Sony WM-30 walkman in the best condition. Looks like new and (after replacing the belt) plays like new too. Complete with headphone and case. This is like winning the jackpot! The walkman is hardly used over the years, unbelievable! I also hit the jackpot last March, but that was as a result of cleaning out my basement

That is a really beautiful walkman. I barely have any machines in near perfect cosmetic condition. The Wm-10/20/30 machines really look great.

Thanks for so many nice replies. I just started to discover the beauty of Sony walkmans. It's amazing how small Sony could make these. I still have old professional recordings on cassette and they sound great on this walkman. Much better than the new mp3 walkmans.

Walkgirl....you're collection IS the museum of walkman's!!!! I poured over that thread when I saw it and realized I'm hopelessly outclassed..

I am trying to collect only Sony walkmans, coz I think Sony was the godfather of the walkman. Till now I have a WM-DDII in mint condition and a WM-DD33, also like new (see photo's in the clips) Both with original headhones and cases.

Still looking for a WM-10 or WM-20 in mint condition. Broken is no problem, because my speciallity is miniature electronics. So, I will fix them.

Hehe...must not forget the fabulous WM-30. I started this topic with that one.. So my collection is three now.
