A REAL "UNUSED" WALKMAN II HAS THE ORIGINAL ORANGE FOAM PADS ON THE HEADPHONES, AND THOSE HEADPHONE HAVE NEVER BEEN REMOVED FROM BLUE PLASTIC PACKAGING INSERT. IT IS MUCH MORE RARE TO HAVE A BOXED WALKMAN II WITH ORIGINAL FOAMS (EVEN IF THEY'RE DEGRADED A BIT) THAN THE OVER-SIZED, BULKY ORANGE FOAMS SHOWN ON YOUR HEADPHONES.

Is it for sale?

In the early 80s I lived in Guam and my father was an airline pilot . He bought me a Walkman 2 in Japan for my birthday . It came with all the same stuff but the package was very different , There was no display window . It was smaller and just had a picture on the box .  I sure wish I had kept that box so I could show you guys what it looked like .

That was a great find .  Just having a working pair of MDR4L1 headphones is rare enough .
