Here is my newly purchased Sony WM-701T. I have always wanted one of these rare walkmans. This one is number 101/250. It is in lovely condition, and comes complete with all accessories. It comes in a lovely hardwood box, with ebonised edges. The box has a real feel of quality. I have pictured it alongside my 701S. The 701T has more of a handmade feel to it. The writing on the 701S is more sharp, i think it was maybe done using a laser. Where as the Tiffany looks to have been finished by hand, the writing not being as sharp. This one was expensive, but i think it was worth it for such a beautiful and rare walkman.

WOW you have the holy grail of the Walkman in your collection.
Congratulations !
As far as I know, has Sony these exclusive items never sold ,
they are gifts to famous and important people.
Do you know who the original owner of your Tiffany-Walkman#101 was ?

Just saw the pawn stars episode.
"It's worth about 2 dollars!"
"It's worth more than that but he did overpay for the damn thing!"
"I'll give you 50 bucks if you (the pawn shop owner's Dad) can put this tape in there in less than 30 seconds."
"It doesn't fit!"
"Just slam it shut, get it in there!"
Hilarious. (note: They did not even test it before buying it for $1250.)

What season and episode of Pawnstars was that on, would like to see that, would be funny, as I bet most didn't even know what it was?
But they are worth as much as the a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept. Plus I know he been after this model for years, since I sold him one of mine 701s, but kept the 701t as it was the only one I have, plus it when over $2200 years ago, so 3k not to far off as they are rare and only given to given out to company officers and celebs most of them were given as a gift for many famous singers, like "The Who" and never sold retail. The way I look at it as a nice piece of history and a investment. Plus shock a pawn shop would pay even $1250 for it, but the guys their are a little more knowledgeable.

Season 4, EP 58. Silence of the Lambo. They don't really know anything about Walkmans, they just seemed to make a 60%-ish offer of the seller's price. The fact that it is a Tiffany endorsed product plated silver and the celebrity ownership part helps I guess.
