Today a big parcel arrived from Hong Kong sent by Peppin. The packaging was brilliant and double boxed with a ton of bubblewrap and extra foam like protection. The box itself is stunning. Needs a little clean and some internal spraying of switches etc. but nothing major. This is a splendid example of a BIGBEN and it is the more rare silver version too! Just beautiful. Sound is as per usual from this box, excellent. Hope you enjoy the photo's.

congratulations docs, i was tempted by this one when it popped up on ebay but then i realized that it was out of reach for my pocket. in my opinion this beauty is even more beautiful than the "normal" edition --which already is more than awesome to say the least. enjoy it, and thanks for sharing!

Agreed bbb. My previous Jap model had red trim to woofer too. I definitely think that Sanyo did a few revisions of this but as it is this one has hit the spot for me.

Docs, that is very impressive. Whoever you got that from is a true fan of electronics. The packaging was equally as impressive. The first thing I noticed was the metal grill. These the brightness of the silver finish. The japanese writing on it lets you know, "I'm not from around here". Top Notch.

Seriously Docs...if i diddn't love m m90's so much id trade an m90 for one of these in a heart beat lad...well worth the trade i think... how do these sound...i know boxes like the sanyo 920 arn't very loud are these any better bud
