Here is my recently purchased Kenwood CP-Q5. This one is similar to the Pansonic RQ-S series.

Great find and boxed too.  Yes it looks like exterior redesign and use of Panasonic S series internals.  The remote is nearly identical to some S series remotes from Panasonic.   Think closest model is the RQ-S60 as button layout is close on main unit to both.  How is sound quality should be very good.
