well... got this for 5 €... seller wanted 10, but after inspecting, it had a jerky headphone jack .. so i took it home, opened, and BANG ! ...

an entire piece of the board, containing the two jackets, was broken off ...

but well.. the player was running, and when i pressed the pieces together, i didn`t hear any wobbling, wow or flutter... it seemed to be worth to try a restoration. so i took some fast drying glue and put it together... after the glue was dried, i put batteries in it, and it fast forwarded for no reason o.O ... when i pushed play, it STOPPED ! ..

and the  - side of the batterys went hot and hotter .. so i kicked them out..

mmh ... seemed, that i isolated the power ways by the glue..

so i soldered them together again...

after i had reconnected 4 points again, it played again and works good now ! ...



back to live again, that grundigs are like zombies ...

put a new belt in it, the old one was ok, but didn`t last for long time..

readjusted and cleaned the head and rollers, and thats it :
