we had our first look at those big beautiful Sony take up reels with the walkman 10! With some design changes and several models later, 2 reels became one with the newer 501. Sony had to make room for the gumstick battery, which was housed now inside the  machine.  Here in white we see the Sony wm- 501. Also in white with the am fm tv tuner is the wm-F 501. Last and very least, in white but with the large, square window is the wm-J 501.  a very rare player indeed!  

Also seen here is the 502 and 504 model sony with that one, last silver spool!

i am not a walkman collector but i like to admire them when some one posts pictures , and these are very nice indeed.  

Thanks. The lighting is key. Do you use more than one light source for your pics.  Also, has anybody have information on wm- J 501 series.  No info is available on this player.
