Looks very nice, but this is not Photoshop. Photoshop is not capable of this, it looks more like 3D Studio Max a 3d program.

Just have a look at the link and it was made with Cinema 4D then rendered out with Final Render plugin, very nice 3d work.

Must have taken some time, the reflections from the headphone band are amazing. Main unit looks great also.

Final Render is an amazing rendering plugin. Only 2 things i would nit pick about the work, 1 the person made the Walkman look better than new and the 2nd is the headphone pads look very bad, but i could not do better as i am trying to learn when i have time.

Marek Denko does amazing work that look realistic, check out this Fiat 500 and more at link below.

Well it could be a 3D rendering and photoshop afterwards, but netherheless it's beautifull.

It's a nice work. I only would add the rugous aluminum finish, a less sharper adges (as the original one).

The work can be retouched in 3D inside photoshop. Yes, it can do that, since version Cs4 Extended, that allows 3d painting.

But I'm not sure if it allows rendering. It probably allows a standard rendering, but not with diffuse or caustic light...

Hi Toocool,

If you really need to brush up your skill for 3D and photoshop artwork, I actually have an image of a girl on swimsuit enjoying the Sony WM F5 in a pool, the world first sport Walkman. I got this black and white image from the internet a while ago, it was an advertisement back in 1984 as stated from the article. I like this classic image very much and I want to make a big poster for my music room out of this picture unfortunately the image resolution is just too small. If you are kind enough, can you help to render it with photoshop and convert it to a higher resolution image. Weird enough I couldn't find the link to the article anymore, but lucky I have the image downloaded and saved on my PC.

Hi ken80s I am still only learning 3D, but what you want is not 3D related. What you are after is creating a better higher res image from what you have?

It is not possible, well nothing good anyway. See you cannot put information in that is missing. It is always better to start with a good high res file, which you can down sample but putting back missing information never yields a good result. The image will just look pixelated and blurred. If viewed from a distance it may look okay.

Hi Toocool, thanks for the detail explanation.
