darn! i'm courting the seller to no avail then!  please more ads for the most advertised of all boxes...  tell me Pioneer, is there a box you are after so that i can happily give you tit for tat? you know, the Christmas spirit and all...  

this was up for auction before it must not have made the reserve ?

I would pass on it, I think it was returned for a reason from the last buyer. Someone won it over $650. Had the seller sent me a second chance offer a couple weeks later, even thur didn't win it to buy it for $550 and decided to passed on it. So etheir last bidder didn't pay, or was returned for a reason. Bidded on more then one and won another one, plus still have a brandnew one. 

Always looking to buy them to fix and resell it, if within reasonable price, but just don't trust this one for some reason and missing knobs and battery cover. Plus someone been inside it, pretty sure it's someone failed repair attempt. Question is what damage did they do to it, that it more likely was a returned?
