ha ha, don't buy it then
Not my style either but if someone wants an awesome sounding box and a blindness inducing disco experience at the same time then this is the one for them!

Can I ask why you would cut & paste this response in both of my for sale threads, on 2 different sites? Seems kind of 'toolish' to me man & I've never interacted with you or posted any commnents on your threads so what gives? Not trying to start a beef but if you were me, wouldn't you be a little bit curious as to why someone would go out of their way to post the EXACT same negative comment on 2 different boombox sites for the same box for sale?

Sorry Jens but I don't think it appropriate to put negative comments on someones for sale thread....they haven't asked for comments they've put it up for sale.
If someone puts up a thread saying hey look at my new box or look at the mod I've done then we can by all means give positive or negative comments to our hearts content as thats what they're asking for...but not on a for sale thread.
Just my view

Thank you Jens and you're right it should be remembered on your for sale threads too

Northener your comment about putting any negative comments to someones for sale post is 100% correct. This forum of late has become too negative /attacking of others.
My mom taught me if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all. Sure if someone posts a box or walkman in chat or gallery then the members opinions are welcome. Even negative ones but when posting a negative it would show proper manners to use a little restraint. This is a place to show , share and love our hobby with others. We have just been through a difficult airing of actions and tempers recently.
Lets all work on getting along or use the PM's as we want the world to keep seeing this as one of the top sights for information and sharing this great hobby.

Uhhh...really it wasn't the fact you made your initial comment. Others have said it wasn't their 'thing' & I didn't get upset about it. You know you wouldn't like it If someone else crapped on your sale thread, which I NEVER DID, TO ANYONE!!!
It's the fact that you went out of your way to CUT & PASTE the same exact comment on both sites, not the comment itself.
I have not interacted with you in any way whatsoever, either privately, publically or outside of either forum. Again, why bother 2x. Obviously, it is to get everyone's attention or maybe to make me angry. Who knows?
I had to ask you publically & call you on this so that others can see this is not the way to build a supportive community of collectors & traders. You needed to be called on it publically for thread crapping & I won't apologize for that. If more people call out other members for causing personal drama, the less it will happen in the future.
I thank you all for your patience & now we can get back to talking about boomboxes, the way it should be.

Hi, CPL
( copied from another thread below
(( The controller is a very efficient transistor based driver that can operate at a 10-30v DC range & power 2A per channel, with 3 channels avail. I only use 27 LEDs, total on 1 channel which draws about 10-12w MAX on AC supply & about 8w from batteries. Each LED draws a standard 0.023A or 23mA so all 27 LEDS draw about 0.6A plus a little bit for the controller. ))
You could maybe make a kit of this Light set and sell it in ebay

Not disappointed.
Interested in the beginning of your process - (fabbed from an LED kit you can get online with a 5m strip of 50-50 RGB LEDs.)

Na, You really can't fab a kit out of the materials I use. It's just love sweat & tears. You just have to love doing this to a box. There's only 3 boomboxes in existence that has this mod & each 1 I do is completely unique & hand made.
