anyone know the difference in quality between the 414 and the later 414SL ?
thanks
If I remember correctly, the Sennheiser 414 phones have a higher ohm rating (over 1,000 ohms) - basically, you'll need a heavy duty amp to drive them. The 414SL phones are only 32 ohms.
thanks alot , fatdog --
i had thought that nobody here would remember the ---then famous 414 model--
for the reward -- check your PM
I loved the sen's My fave is still the heavy old koss pro4AAA. I still run a set of koss porta pros for working out on my ipod ( shhhhh did i say ipod?) . I was going to change to the shure in ear ones but just never did.
Sen has always made a good sounding headphone and they also make some good wireless Mics!!
I had those old PRO4AAA...back from college days...heavy as abrick....sold on ebay several years back.
B,sent you a facebook invite, since I could'nt find Ira...
not sure what facebook means
--is that a good thing ?
I have a pair of hd340 for a while still work. They are built to last.
LeBron was wearing these "Beats" during one of his Olympic interviews. We carry these at the Apple store, and they isolate like nothing I've ever worn. Great over-ear phones!

Got it Ed and accepted.
Ira still thinks facebook is a type of porn
Grado SR-60s and SR-80s are really nice for the money. Open back design sound fantastic!
For DJ-ing, not much can beat the Sony MD-RV700
with JT on the Grados. I had looked at some of those last year, but heard really great things about the Sennheiser PX-100s. For me the PX-100s are fabulous and ultra-clear!
