What do you all think about home built stereos?

These my father built i,m still happy to own these.The sound is good.

My father built it after a schedule from a finnish hifi magazine in 1985.These guys from the magazine had tested the sound professionelly .I just wish that i had my fathers knowledge about mathematics and hifi knowledge.

nice speakers i am thinking of doing something along those lines my self but sadly my carpentry skills are bobbins

making correct size speaker holes in wood panels is not a very difficult

carpentry task --

if you have or have access to a drill press --there are inexpensive adjustable size

circle cutters that make perfect cut outs.

or - likewise - if you can use a bandsaw --there are variable radius guides

to make any size inner circle.

in or out of the wooden case-
