I have some crackly toggle switches that need to be sorted out.  I figure removal and try to clean with deoxit or similar, any ideas?

The tuning and volume knobs require an allen key for removal, anyone know the size please?  I have tried many :S

a true late seventies monster amp/tuner a beut i think the hex size is 1.2 mil .

Thanks for your help - Deliverance : the hex turned out to be 1.5 and the faceplate is now off.  Any tips for switch cleaning?

The servisol worked a treat - see the before and after photo's attached - Before cleaning ......

Can't remember any modern gear that you can actually take the switches apart!
