Just bought another system

I just can't help myself it seems. Today I picked up another lot of stuff, this time made by Teac. I only went into the charity shop to scope for some tapes etc. And came out with this...
It needs a clean but there are very few marks on it. And even comes with a 3 month guarantee and system R/C!

I've always liked these. Is this the reference 500 or 700 system. I remember the speakers that came with these were pretty crappy.

Not sure. I had no idea these were collectively called the 500, 700 etc!The CD is a PD-H300C, the amp an A-H300 and the tuner a T-H300. Best guess a 300? Actually, there were speakers with it but I politely said keep them...they were Sanyo midi system ones

Yes, sorry, I mean 300 or 500. I recall there was a minidic unit availible too.

Ahhh, don't! You'll have me scouring eBay now. Most likely there's a matching cassette deck too. This could get out out hand...

Some good friends of ours have a couple of these as systems in the lounge & dining room. Both outperform anything short of a proper hifi system.
Interestingly, I don't think the speakers being used are Teac...

yeah i agree with chris, youll need some nice meaty woofers to pair the teac components withhad a vintage teac cassette deck a bit ago and it was solid

Looks good, enjoy:-)

Nak you generally cant go wrong with Teac. I have never heard of or seen such a thing but has a great older vintage look to it. two thumbs Up.

Excellent, Nak. I always loved those TEAC small HIFIs. I have a similar ONKYO but always considered TEAC better.
