The only problem I find with ELO is, I have never found a good recording. I have bought multiple copies of the same album only to get the same result, I have come to the conclusion they must have all been badly mastered.
Same here I don't like the way their almbums were mastered.
But music still gtreat.
"Last train to London" track from "Discovery" '79 at the moment - love it
yeah that's interesting to read - i was shocked to hear one of elo's cd albums sounded really terrible about 10 years ago & know most of their albums off by heart on vinyl records that sounded fine, well better than fine actually!
have since found the same when sampling just about any of their digital recordings - very dodgy audio quality beyond being able to enjoy the music......i thought it was just me!!
