Summer again !!

Well, my first post here. There it goes: Although I'm spanish, I don't like spanish music so much. In fac, I rarely listen to it. But there's a group that makes good music: good words, good rithms. And they had indeed a lot of sucess here.

My main interest is to alternative rock but this music is also very nice.

This catalan band is called "Jarabe de palo", which is a common expression that for years fathers told their sons when they did something bad and also hurted themselves. It's like: So did you fall down and made yourself hurt because you did stupid things? So come here and I'll give you a slap for acting like a stupid."

The singer and compositor is Pau Dones.

Here's a song I like "Completo incompleto":

It means "complete incomplete", but a better translation would be like "totally incomplete", although it looses the game with words. 

They are from Barcelona. In fact this video has been recorded here in my city

Yes, a lot. Alternative rock rather than simply rock. And I'm a great fan of those awesome ballads coming from these bands.

For example: 'With arms wide open' from Creed, another of my favorite bands.

I have listened to many types of rock, from mild rock to very hard, metal and even close to death metal, but many years ago.

Now I like guitars mixed with a good rythm and good voice. Not that screaming singers and almost totally distorted guitar and sound.

I find the mix of distorted guitar, good battery & bass in a good rythm and a melodic voice and unbeatable combination ;-)

but this kind of music is not well suited to perceive audio quality of your equipment; when I like to enjoy that I switch to some movie sountracks, or some pop music; even modern disco...

Walkman Archive this group sounds like another group I know but I can put my fingers on it yet.

Last week was great! With DocP the wm-ex gold, wm-40, wm-R55 and wm ex5 has been brought back to life with new belts, with some minor adjustments with the speed screw.

Also fixed the jammed head adjustment screw on a wm-10... it sounds (treble) so amazingly clear!!!
