Puppets yes but I still like this theme music to this day

and in the opening sequence the take-off sound is a vacuum cleaner motor slowly increased in voltage/speed/pitch of sound  as I found out recently

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fireball_XL5

Several Anderson series have been shown in syndication in the US, but Fireball XL5 is the only Anderson series to have run on a US network. NBC (the National Broadcasting Company) ran the series in its Saturday morning children's block from 1963 through to September 1965.

So this above dates me as I still remember watching these living in New Jersey.

I am listening to ELP Brain Salad Surgery in honor of Keith Emerson.

More than any other band, ELP is the soundtrack of my youth.

They were the first concert I saw, I was 12 years old (my dad took me) and it was at The Pacific Colosseum in Vancouver.work-nr-217-elp-i-brain-salad-surgery-1973

Heard this (Bomb the Bass - Don't make me wait) on the Car Radio tonight and decided I wanted a repeat performance. In my opinion a perfect match for anything 80s
