Bought Back in 1990 or so, I Bought this "Sony D-303 Discman" from Dillard's of all place's with the Goose-neck and platform for mounting in your vehicle.

I had Installed this Sony Goose-neck & platform Mounting system in my 1987 Nissan Kingcab Truck between the bucket seats, with the [Sony D-303 Discman] Worked great as the Supension of the platform Isolated the cd-player from the vibrations of driving.

vehicle setup:

Playing through the Radio-shack head unit that accepted a aux input, the line out of the head unit to a radioshack 7-band equalizer, then to a Audio Control 2XS active-equalizer crossed at 80hz -18db slope, summed mono then outputted to 1 50wpc-amp bridged to 100wpc to drive one 10 inch sub. The other stereo ouput - out of the audio-control 2xs 80hz and above to a 50 wpc stereo amp out the the door speakers. Sounded great being only Three speaker's

Then around 2002 this Player just the (Sony D-303 Discman) was in a different vehicle that was broke into and 'they' stole 'just' the Discman - leaving me with just the AC/wall-wart/adapter, AND the goose-neck with mounting plate for the D-303.  Gee I was pissed over that...

Finally years later after discovering epay - bought 2 replacements One Complete in the box and one in the plastic bag with remote, sensor for remote, and mounting plate - but NO gooseneck - of which I still have for some future installation in something somewhere

p.s. i really liked the one feature of this unit; & that it has the ability to play within a song from timepoint's that you select, or A to B  and repeat this as many times as you like

Not seen this feature ever again in any 'other cd' player out there ...
