I cannot give names... I cannot give areas of the globe.... I cannot give Boombox type/models...

This said I have had the chance to get a beautiful Bbox from a Friend... This Bbox should have made it to me in three days (using FedEx)!!!!! It has been almost a month and a half!!!!!!!!! ... Not good...

I called customs ('cause the reason it was taking a long time -according to the tracing Nr. on the net- is because of customs....) Yeah, them!

Well, I went to France for holiday (the Bbox had only been a "Few" weeks late at that time). I told myself that it would Probably be here at my return.... Nope!!!! It was not....

That is when, slowly but surly, I got into contact with all the interested parties... Found out that "The (obscenity removed)" customs had been holding the Bbox because the "Telephone Number" (to contact "ME") was not the right one on the parcel... They could have God Damn WRITTEN to me, my mailing address WAS/IS on the parcel...

Contacting me was just to find out if the "Article" was new or secondhand, and its weight!!!!!!!!! (Obscenity removed)!!!!!

Well, when I finally called FedEx, and the FedEx customs person... They started telling me that it was ready to be """"Shipped Back"""" to the sender, but that they were going to try and stop that, to have it go to me!!!!!!

For, by calling them and giving the info, it had been cleared by customs once that was done!!!!!

Tell me.... Did I wait too long?????!!!!! The Friend who shipped the Bbox told m, "No!".... But I think I did......

I want it now.....Yes, NOW!!!!!!!

I am going to jump out of a ground floor window!!!!!!!!!

Nobody seemed to know where it was.
Was almost shipped back to the seller too.
Turned out fine though

I know what u mean Brian. It happens to me everytime I get a package shipped by U.S. poast office i get so that when i receive the package I get so and afterwards.

Bredgeo, fingers crossed for you that it shows up at your door, very soon and in perfect shape.

I remember when we sent some stuff back-and-forth to each other, and for some weird reason it took six weeks in each/both directions, for what should have taken perhaps six days! The "joys" (perils) of shipping!

The important thing is that you will finally get your box into your own hands, and out of the hands of these bureaucratic government paper-pushers!

P.S. -- I've been away for a while, too... nice to come back and find you are back here, too!
