hi from me from snowy maidstone kent.uk
just like too say hi as been looking on here lots in last few months,
been buying a few walkmans got the bug after seeing an old aiwa
g35 mk11 in red. wanted as a kid, still i think at the time i got something that
looks like a sony wm-20 poss pastel blue i think. not seen one yet. does not
look as cool as wm-20 same size but more plasticy,
any how i thought i would say hi.
at the mo im trying to repair a wm d6c.. just have to replace the headphone socket,
and repair plastic case as it fell apart during repair , was cracked but did not think it was as bad. i took apart due too a broken recording level potentiometer.
i have fixed this and sounds fantastic after trying some recording, yep play speed
and recording a great. now if i can just get it back together,, cough laugh. whoops..
so big hi five. been great seeing stuff here from mojos adidas mixtapes bags and all things i loved when i was around 10-15 years old groing up in south east london.
miss the old days, allthough i do still dj with my technics 1210s at some festivals ect.
never give up the oldskool
peace.
