Hello DocP!

I would like to buy some belts for the Panasonic SX series, namely the RQ-SX75. Perhaps you are familiar with them but they are really tiny. If you never had such a request, I will have to take it apart and measure the belts but I am not inclined at doing so because I don't have good tools and it does take a lot of desoldering to get the belts.

I really need some help here guys!!

Hi DocP, I just joined the forum because I saw you appear to be the only source to get a belt for a WM-10 (3-315-405-00). Could you contact me and let me know the price? I'd appreciate it very much. I used to work for Sony (17 years there) and I was there when the WM-10 was first introduced. I've repaired many hundreds of them, mostly back around 1983-1990 when they were most popular. I wrote some of the first technical bulletins on the WM-10, starting with the auto-stop spring issue. I fixed so many - sometimes 40 or 50 in a day - I could almost do it in my sleep

They became obsolete, and we literally threw dozens of these in the trash, they had no real value back then. Who would have thought they would become so valuable years later? If I had known, I would have taken home more of the scrap units, and at that time I could get all the parts I wanted for free. Too late for that now... Unfortunately, I only took home one WM-10 that happens to be in mint condition, except for the belt, of course. Somehow I forgot to take at least one spare belt when I had the chance. So I guess you're my only hope! Look forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks very much!

I saved again my DCC170 (my original glued belt has broke again). Now it embed a brand new belt.

Hi DocP!

I need to restore 2x AIWA RX628 and you are my last resort, since your are the expert!

The belt used is extremely thin. It is 0.5m! The first time in my life I see a belt like this. The total length (periphery) is around 230m.

Do you have something like this?

Is there any suggestion.

I would really apreciate your experienced opinion, since these AIWAs used to be great performs and want to bring them back to life!

Is there any online site to show a complete guide to walkman belts?

For example if i need belt for Aiwa HS-J600 or Sony WM2 or...
