A fellow member RedBenJoe recently asked me after he bought the Panasonic RX-1960 if I knew of any other models with following criteria.

CASSETTE WALKMAN

Has  analogue  AM / FM stereo tuning -- a metal directional antenna-

and a stereo recording deck -- with L/R mics---a stereo lamp--

and a tape counter...

The Panasonic RX-1960

this model has all that --plus  tone and stereo-mono switches-

balance control.....

a stereo speaker out jack

any other models in the world have all that ?

 in this compact size ??

In my collection I came up with the following models that have all or nearly all of your criteria.  I am sure that other members can add model numbers and photo of any Walkman that meet the above criteria.

i sort of remember having a few sonys with all // most of these features -

maybe a wa 33 or wa 55 ? 

AO should know or have these 

the real metal antennas are many times better than the phone jack antennas

OLYMPUS  SR-11   Note Micro Cassette so freq. response (high) less than std. cassettes.   Has two speeds 1.2 and 2.4 cm/s    Came in RED and BLACK also.

I had to have the Roadrunner one BEEP BEEEP as I have a 1971 Plymouth Roadrunner.

And yes the special horn goes BEEP BEEP   Only car with Licensed name/Logo or Cartoon Character
