Saisho PS50

So far so good then, I will keep. It Has the plastic case with the strap. Need to take it apart and see why the tape isn't playing. Does anyone work on these that could assist with what I need to open it up and what to look for. Thank you for the reply's.

Well it over a year ago I posted on this item. I have put my hands on it again the other day and would really like to get it working. So any help with getting it working would be great. Am in the uk and looking for someone to fix it at the right price.

is it the small 3 piece one that you have?had so many saishos i cant remember.like seb says saisho were dixons own branded products during the 80s and early 90s,and comparable loosely to the ferguson 3t series in terms of quality, which i believe was the cheaper brand sold through currys stores at the time?seb can you add anything to that mate?

Although strictly speaking technically this thread isabout walkmans...the one way Saisho scores highly in my book is that many people our age would have received these things as Xmas presents from well meaning parents who either didn't know the walkman/BBX scene or perhaps had regular or modest incomes (certainly in my case), making them very special. They'll never top any performance charts but I'll always have a soft spot for Saisho - there, I said it! Here's one similar to the one I had, mine however had twin condensor mics...

Exactly Nak D. Over in Canada we had Candle/ Citizen that filled the role you described to a tee.
