see if you can offer a newer box with cd player and say this is cooler and that he should let you have it as it doesn't look good with him

Im trying...thats why I asked how does it sound to gauge how much i wanna shell out if he does sell it.

That box is pretty loud but the amplifier sucks. Sound is not too good and the overall built quality is not up to the brand name boxen from the early 80s.

I sold mine, found it pretty disappointing for the size.

If he's smart he'll keep it. BUT, Money Talks & B.S. Walks. EVERYBODY'S GOT A PRICE!!!

u want honest opnions,right? looks nice sound very so so i had this one a long time ago and sold it on ebay,yrs ago,i think i got like $150 which was DEF more then i felt it was worth and DEF more then i pd, legitimate fair mkt value $50-$75 tops but i wouldnot go as far as paulchris and say it's junk,it just looks better then it sounds,alot of bbxs fall into that category.
