    One Of my favorite machines this. I have an AD-F770. Very similar machine with a few less bells and whistles! Very good performance in an unusual very 1980's package!

    The 770 and the 990 are very special machines. I think there's not any other manufacturer that made such design which represents the best 80s design

    I totally agree with you! I had been after one of these for years as they a such a bold statement of 80's styling. They had good reviews when they came out too. I managed to get mine from ebay about ten years ago. It was cheap and not working however a set of high quality German made belts fixed it. Performance is very good indeed, one of the best machines I have short of the Nakamichi. I would highly recommend picking one of these up if you can find one at a good price. (Ebay prices have become a little inflated in recent times!)
