Thanks for sharing Oswaldo and great taste in equipment. Your Sony PS-2251 is sweet, I have an actual trash find one that's missing the platter. It was at an estate sale and they didn't think the turntable was worth putting out so they pitched it and it and I saved it. I asked them about the platter and they said some kid liked the sound it made when banged on so he grabbed it, I've been on the hunt for another platter ever since.

Are your racks vintage or do they still make those, I was thinking of fabbing my own but would prefer to just get one off the shelf.

    Welcome to Stereo2go Oswaldo Martinez.

Nice collection of turntables :smileycool:, you should post your system here for all to see.

You have all these turntables, and a Yamaha PX-series?! Okay... I'm officially jealous.

May I suggest adding the K-960 cassette deck to the stack? The performance of one is so impressive [to me], it even brought out passages recorded on Type-I tapes made a lesser model with rotating-head auto-reverse! Plus there's the whole dbx function, which I've yet to find a suitable tape to make use of it with, but I understand is quite a function to have from what I've read.

I'm having the same trouble locating a replacement for my long-held & now lost Pioneer PL-300. You think that such a common model would be easy to find second-hand... for cheap. But nooo!

I too continue to be amazed by what some people will just throw-out... And I've seen everything from vintage three gun video-projection units, to home-built ONTV pirate boxes to 5-y/o desktop computers. All of which salvageable and all still useful... Except maybe for the pirate box.

Thanks! I know I am blessed but I've worked very hard to get where I am at, trust me. Anyway, I hate to dissapoint you but...I do have a flat screen in the room (please note a center channel speakers on the shelf somewhere) but I have these two large Sonex sheets I throw in front of it. It does sound much better not having that reflecting surface between the speakers. Much better imaging and perfectly "locked" center image of lead instruments or vocals if they're meant to be in the middle.

Once again, thanks for the kind words. If any of you gentlemen find yourselves in S. Florida don't hesitate to reach out. I'd love to host you!

He-He, you almost fooled me! But I suspected cheating because of those foam panels and centerchannel :D
