    Greetings!

Years ago (late 90s, early 2000s), I actively collected portable stereo gear (specifically Discman and boom boxes of the late 1980s). I was a member of a forum back then, that I think splintered off in 2003 or so. I thought it started as stereo2go, then became boomboxery? Or something like that? I may be conflating memories...

Anyway, I no longer collect anything, but I recently started tape recording at home. I have a WM-10II that I’m using, but I’d like some advice from the experts about something that’s either a characteristic of the machine or something that needs technical intervention. I’ll post that in the appropriate forum.

Until then, thanks for keeping these forums alive!

S2G and Boomboxery are 2 different sites but some members are active in both forums.

Welcome back, tape is back, a complete 180 degrees from 15 years ago and some of your old equipment might be worth a small fortune now a days. There's a lot of good threads on taping and equipment but post more, it's fascinating to read how everyone is using their machines.
