Hi, I just got into cassette players lately. Been fidling around and just today I fixed my first walkman that was bought for parts and repaor from Ebay . It a Sony TCS 300
Welcome as you live in the part of the world where there are lots of part for walkmans unlike where I live, and I thought I would share 1 picture. Yes this is a old picture & I have moved since this was take but I still have all of these and when I get most of my larger cassette boomboxs sold off then I will start in on repairing these little ones the slang name is walkmans but to me they are just little ones
I knew you were heading south (to the world of walkmans) Cassette2go! Welcome aboard Freeaun, fixing these little guys is half the fun, if your into old electronics you can still pick up wow and flutter meters for around $100 USD and really get into adjustments. Most of the units need a belt and a good cleaning to get the old belt, that's now goop, off. With some of the test equipment you can really have fun just messing around or doing it for money or getting your walkmans into top form.
minnesota maybe I will go there next summer. 10 july 2019 I am driving from dallas to florida to nyc to Detroit an then back to dallas
