Help Sony WM-EX1 functions not working correctly

This Sony WM-EX1 has not been working for a few months now. The main problem is that the machine no longer triggers into playback mode, and honestly I am not sure where to start troubleshooting anymore.

As you may remember from my previous posts, I already tested the solenoid before and it seemed to be working properly. When the problem first started, repeatedly pressing the PLAY button would sometimes still trigger the solenoid and allow the machine to enter playback mode. However, the issue has now gotten worse, the machine no longer goes into playback mode at all, and I don't hear the solenoid being triggered anymore.

I could be wrong about some of my earlier assumptions, but I wanted to give an update on everything I have tried so far. Recently, I took the machine apart again and cleaned the mechanism in hopes of fixing the issue. I also sprayed deoxit into the N/R switch just to see if it would make any difference.

I recently replaced the belt because i thought that the belt was the problem but it turned out that it isn't. Also, I tried resoldering the solenoid connections a few times just in case the issue was caused by a bad connection(its not).As mentioned in my earlier replies, I had also previously replaced the motor with one from a donor machine because I originally suspected the motor might have been causing the issue.
