Just a casual old-tech lover. Happy owner of kenwood kx 550hx, sony wm-32 (bought in uncertain condition, still work in progress) and some guy named apollo 3000 (half-destroyed but still works).
I like cassettes and sometimes make custom mixtapes. I'm new to repairs, so I guess this place will be nice to read and to talk about with ppl =)

That Kenwood tape deck you mentioned won a What HiFi award in the late 80s, and me & some of my friends bought that very deck. Mine's long gone now...

Never heard of this, but sounds cool. It was my first deck and I like it for it's price and sound quality (also bought it like new in very good condition). With proper sound adjusting on PC and with NR it writes decent type I tapes. And it's just fun!
