A tiny player in the portable world but they had some exceptional builds, I was going through my files and found some cutsheets, no idea where they came from. For some reason page 3 is cut off at the bottom. I've only seen the boombox portable up close, the one in the vinyl box with two speakers and the portable and it's not on here. The CD players are outstanding and heavy duty builds, well worth grabbing if you find one.
Kenwood El Paco, a powerhouse mitie-mite! 20 watts a channel a power house of sonics. What isn't really clear is this has built in side speakers in the main unit. This was sold a-la-carte so the big speakers were an option, if you have an extra set let me know! The amp actually comes up on ebay once in a while I guess it got kept while the tape deck was tossed. Love the van with the turbine rims, I had a nearly identical one (without the high top) but with the huge back window, it had to go cuz it rusted out but the engine was still a baby. Check out the MIC for animal sounds, that was so big back then.
Over 20 lbs for just the tuner and amp, I have no idea what it was priced at but I have to believe over $500 bones. It's one of those that you go to move and it feels like it has lead inside.
