    I love it but I just can't see why it cost so much I could see maybe half that for the for the unit but nowhere near what they're charging if I had $24,000 to spend on a portable unit I would build something that would absolutely wipe that thing off the face of the Earth and look good doing it.

    My guess is that the main point of it is that it costs $24,000. A blokes version of the designer handbag.

    Apparently it uses parts of real Lamborghini exhaust systems in its construction - as if they were designed with Hi-Fi sound reproduction in mind. Think of the Hi-Fi system you could get for the same price. There are probably $4000 systems that would beat this.
