I don't see a lot of these around, but I had one as a teenager(got destroyed) and just recently found another 26 years later. Nice looking unit, but not much bass. Had a hell of a time getting the take-up reel to grab, but with a little spring re-tentioning, I got it to work. You can skip up to 9 songs with this digital DRPS Program sensor! Might as well just fast forward to the end 'cause most tapes won't hold more than 6 songs on one side LoL

Never seen that model before.......... Derivative of the famous TRK-8290E for sure!! Nice features too - Hitachi made so many models & variants, we see many here!
