hi, I found this site after a google search for a belt for my Panasonic RQ-J6 cassettep[layer. and yes it says 'stereo to go' on the front of it. I hope this is appropriate for this site.
it plays and rewinds fine but there is a wobble in the sound during playback. most noticeable in the instrument, ie. piano. the vocals are pretty god but a hair slow and maybe lower in pitch. is this what I hear referred to as 'wow and flutter' ? will a new drive belt help this ?
I didn't see any for sale on the auction sites. does anyone know of a source for a drive belt for this model?
