Love those mini series from Sanyo with top speakers, 4/6.
    Have only JDM MR-Q4.

Sanyo MR-Q4 back in those days, new, in a Japanese store. :dramaqueen:

Always liked the look of these, although I've never owned or heard one.
I never knew about the V/H switch - Is the '400 the only model with that feature?
(I suppose I could Google it, but I used all my energy typing this post.)

    Red & Erm.... Red! :):):)

They both sound good - the 7735L goes one better though.......these sound awesome with masses of detail & bass you just don't expect from such a small stereo!!

    Love them both though!

I almost got a 7735L on the bay, but someone snatched it up just before I got paid! X( I would love to have every version of these! Very hard to find!

Trivia fact - the yellow post-it says "Oshare Tape 2-hon service" means '2 cassette tapes free with purchase'. I have just completed a restoration of the M-7740K version that has the SW tuner (photo attached).
Thank you for sharing that great photo.

Since no one else has noticed it, I am going to ask, why are you naked while photographing this unit? :lollegs:
