Thanks for posting Cassette2go, I knew you had a few portables hear and there but you have a huge collection. Is that Dunder Mifflin box a screen prop?

The photo with the players on the floor has a paper box marked Dunder Mifflin, that might be worth more than your collection if it's screen used.

    - That cardboard shipping or paper box that had walkmans probably got tossed as you may not know but I stopped watching TV - including cable back in April of 2012 - I think that actor played in a show call the office about a paper company but that is all I know I would have never recognized the significance of that box to that tv show. I or me and my family have only ever been on tv once back in 1974 in London England at the opening of Herods department store we were interviewed and we came down the escalator by one of the bbc news broadcasters - now if some-body could find that footage of the grand-opening of that store back when you could see me a lot shorter than I am now :)

@Cassette2go you still have a big collection of portable players/ walkman units.
Some of your collection should go to goodwill. It lowers the value of your better walkmans
i am talking about things like these:
    upload_2019-10-7_11-44-43.png

And some of the units are collectible/ valuable like these:
    upload_2019-10-7_11-46-23.png
    upload_2019-10-7_11-47-12.png

If you remove the regular walkmans and just place the collectible ones in display your collection will shine.
and by the way i couldn't figure out this part:
    upload_2019-10-7_11-51-17.png
    explain it please :loldiag:

Even that crappy Emerson is better than the stuff out now. Those are good for smaller kids that want to check out the technology or even for the small screws or springs they might have for parts.

Cassette2go, I might put you up at my place up here in the great white north, working on equipment in your spare time! Do you spend a lot of time fixing equipment? I know you have a lot of high end, low volume equipment but your also wrenching a lot, do you buy DOA stuff as well, or do you have MRX luck where it works for a day or two and boom, magic smoke?

Believe it or not but there's a ton of guys up here collecting audio equipment, I see it through my job, from people with a stack of old equipment stuffed in a closet to guys with basements stuffed with equipment. I bought a Marantz 4220 from an older guy last year for $20, but he had stacks of tube gear, really nice stuff but in a wet dingy area.

The coolest guy collected car engines, not cars but vintage engines. He had several fully built engines on stands that were worth big dollars, even NOS parts like carbs, manifolds, etcs. He had no interest in the cars, just the motor train.

Very nice except for when you turned Naked Eyes off. I think you linked to the old video in the last post, it has two boxes.

who is 'naked eyes' & yes the is 2 box one each a jdm 508 and a gf-9696 as both are the same. one is from japan and the other is not... as I had both and I sold both.... Now once again I have a gf-9696 with English on the controls as marked so I can understand what they are supposed to do when manipulated.
