Hi, I just bought Sony Walkman WM F-18. The condition is really near mint, visually and also for the electronics. I only have two problems, which I would like to consult with you, members, because as for the most obvious one, the belt, which in fact works, but the FF and REW functions don't, it's not a big deal for me, but I also have problem with the Mode switch, because the button is damaged and also in fact works, but it is very loose and I am afraid I might lose it. Any advices how to fix it? Or even better, someone from Czechia, Slovakia and countries around it who has a same model for spare parts? I would be very glad. Thanks everyone for help :)

    Hi,

    Nice walkman.
Regarding the damaged button, not sure about that one, but you can try WebSpareParts (www.webspareparts.com). They’re based in the EU and have a lot of parts. I usually buy belts there.
    Hope that helps.

Thanks for advice, but it is not there. The piece is so small that I think only a donor walkman would help, because nobody sells only this. I have to confess I tried fixing it with super glue and baking soda. For all readers, please don't do it, please! Really stupid idea

So bad news, the switch broke off completely. But it is in the loop mode, so.... Anyway, a new one would come in handy :)
