I recently got my hands on a WM-DD9. The belts and pinch rollers were replaced with brand new ones, it works great! However there is one minor issue with playback. Occasionally when pressing Play while the direction is on Forward, playback immediately stops. Pressing play again results in a 50% of the issue occurring again, or playback starting normally. This seems to only occur when playback is on Forward with a cassette inserted. I have not been able to reproduce the issue with Reverse playback, or without a cassette inserted. I have only managed to get it to happen once while recording. Anyone have any idea on what could be causing this issue? Issue happens at 0:10.
