Hello, I've read about your repair skills on the SONY WM6DC. Do you accept mail-in repairs from the US? Thanks. Peter
Hi mihokm, i’m in the UK and have some Walkman/personal stereos that need repair, including a couple of 80s early Aiwa models. Are you still doing repairs, and would it be possible for me to send you these for repair? Many thanks, Tim
Hello I have read your writing carefully and would like to ask for your advice. I like analog sound and have WM-DC2. in terms of sound quality Is it better to use the Walkman as it is? Or is it better to use it with a headphone amplifier(mustang p-51)? I look forward to your advice. Thank you! Please understand that I am not fluent in English and used Google Translator.
The DC2 sounds good on its own, but if you use it with a good headphone amp. You will get a cleaner more detailed sound.
Those are super-rare and not well known, check out auctions on yahoo.jp and you might get lucky but it will take a long time.
Cheers Mister x… tried the radio today and the sound was absolutely super.. trying to locate pre-recorded micro cassettes to try out the player
Hello, it's a lighter (Zippo), an image made in photoshop It was an idea I had. I posted the pictures here but for some reason I can't find it?
Hi DocP, I hope you are well!!! I read that you had wm-10ii/30 spare parts. Do you have battery cover and extra silver cover with plastic or just plastic window? I have one up and running nicely, it’s just missing a battery cover and window. Thank you for all you’ve done and do with Walkman repairs!!! Ben
