Hello Deb64, I am currently preparing to disassemble my WM-D6 to try to solve a fast running on playback problem. When I tried my WM-D6 powered with a correct Sony 6volt power supply it worked OK first time. Second time it was running fast on playback but no other symptom. I am wondering if the complete CP602 is available anywhere. MikeC

    Hi Deb,
I have a walkman WM-DD, bought new in 1982. It's well used, well loved and I still use it daily. The center gear and pinch roller have been replaced with parts from Marian. It plays well except for stopping while playing, or sometimes playing very fast like a chipmunk. Would you be able to look at this for me?

Hi, I have a WM-DC2 that I've had since new and would like to get it back to how it worked in the 80s. It clicks but everything else seems ok but would like an expert to do everything required for a good refurb. It is in minty condition cosmetically. Many photos in my introduction post.

Would you be interested in doing the refurbishment for me? I'm Bristol based.

Hello, mihokm, i`m Fritz from Dresden, Germany, with a Sony WM-F501 to check . During check i found some little washers flying free in the mechanics, and i haven`t found the place, where they belong. And two washers are missing - from one capstan and the pulley . I found your washers set on your website "fixyouraudio" - will this set be compatible with this items ?Kind Regards

Hi - I'm wondering about the cost for a refurb of a WM-D6 (ie not the C version)?

Yeah, I was hoping that it would be a simple belt, roller etc job that I was putting off - however, whilst it had been playing correctly using an official Sony AC-15A Adaptor, in the middle of digitising a tape then it started speeding up; where it's now playing ludicrously fast - so I'm assuming that it's a CP602 fault. :(

    Thanks.
