    Hi,

You can see the crack on the first picture.
As I repaired several DD‘s and other WM i know about the problems such gears cause.
My question is about the WM 100/200 series, you can hear it when FF, not at normal Playback.
But the cause seems the same as on the DD center Gear, shrinking.....

    Hello,
¿There was any progress on creating the 3d-model?
I have one of those walkman and I am very interested on getting a battery holder, because I feel that the mod to put it back on the line again is a little dangerous.
I try to measure the Rechargeable Battery Holder using the repairing manual description and I obtain this.
    Height: 1.1 cm
    Length:6.98 cm
    Widht:2.15cm
Hope it helps and expecting a 3D Model.
Best of the Lucks to you

okay folks = I've bought a 3d printer and plan to design and print a battery holder for the WM-101
Of course it would be 10 times easier if I had one in my hands to measure - if anyone has one they would just loan me, of course I would only need it for a few days!
Just looking at your measurements @Boodokhan above on your digital verneir - could you please confirm that was a WM-101 battery case..?

The battery compartment for WM-101 is same for WMF202 ( I used WM-f202 battery compartment for measurement)
So the measurement is exactly same for WM-101

I have a 3D model of a battery holder for my WM-F100… did all the electrical with either 14 or 16ga single stranded un-insulated wire. If anyone wants the file, send a PM.

I recently bought a nice red 102 w/o holder and a black 101 w/ holder. The idea was to use the 101 battery holder for the 102…. They are close, but not the same. Does anyone have a file or dimensions or a spare battery holder for the Wm-102 models that they would be willing to share. I have full 3d modeling and printing capabilities and would make sure whatever I come up with for a model is available to the community. These holders are a nightmare to find but the Wm-10* models are my personal favorite portables and it would be a shame if they all disappeared or became unusable because nobody can connect a power source.

anyway, please help me turn this red beauty into my every day portable (shown with the 101 holder - fits, kind-of…. Not a reliable electrical connection:

Any help or info would be much appreciated!
    cheers!
