General (Fujitsu Ten) had some killer boomboxes, way out there and this is no exception, the General MG767 with three tape decks! https://www.ebay.com/itm/225438532779
post edited......saw a chair but now a boombox....that's better lol was gunna buy it but then saw the price////more insanity, hell i didn't get that for most of my collection lol
No idea if these are anything much but I thought it was cool. Worth buying? Shinaon MM-1 Tiny player, no play or stop button… just starts playing when headphones are plugged in. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1452254...Eq1r5uUR8-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
It's really cool but it looks like they cut every corner they could. I'm surprised there weren't any around here.
For sure, it’s very stripped down and basic. No fast forward or rewind either, just a Cue system when you keep that button pressed. I haven’t seen one before and it’s from 1983 … you’d think there’d be more around. Collectible? I am not sure. What do people think?
Takara Boombox Watch from 1984, looks like NOS. https://www.etsy.com/listing/1426272519/takara-watch-q-compo-quartz-watch
I had one of the Transforming watches shown on the back of the box when I was a kid. Wish I still had it now!
Marantz PMD-430 is an excellent choice for recording cassettes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1860281886...001_T_NORMAL_CT1&crd=20230810090000&ch=osgood
This Aiwa looks tempting although I guess the aerial might be a bit of a challenge https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/125979950231
Not seen a Chinon before. Its missing its detachable speakers but still interesting! https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/1227964067884202/
Protona Minifon Wire Recorder, how cool is this? Auto, have you ever seen this one? https://www.ebay.com/itm/334989024542?
could of had one a few years ago free, not my thing ////great i can record on a wire but wait,,,,,,,,,,...... i can also play tunes through my a$$ in stereo and that costs nothing lol
Kiss Mint player. Interesting but no way worth the price, I think. 23,800 yen (AU$269.42) https://buyee.jp/item/yahoo/auction/d1100746052
I remember this same design model was sold in the Innovations catalog in the UK back in the early 90's. It was called "The Bean" worlds smallest personal stereo. I'm pretty sure it was only around ten pounds to buy new.
The Bean is cool, too bad it looks very basic, I wonder why the big guys didn't do more oddballs like this? The Minifon looks like it's the size of two cassette tape boxes and it's a wire recorder. Now that it's sold maybe it will show up on Techmoan?
