But there is, you have the following websites which have huge databases with walkmans, recorders, decks:
    https://walkman.land/
    https://www.just-cassette.com/
    https://personalhifiblog.blogspot.com/
    https://www.walkman-archive.com/wa/sony-walkman/
    https://walkmancentral.com/products/tc-d5
    https://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/sony/tc-d5.shtml
All of these typically appear on first page of a Google web search. If they don't add yourself the name of website in the keywords, like "TC-D5 hifiengine",
guarantee you this way you'll spend a maximum of 10 seconds searching (which is less than what it took you to write a post here).

This is my last post in this regard, as this discussion has nothing to do with the rubber set.

Does anyone have the dimensions of the belts, idlers and pinch roller?
I can't buy on eBay, but maybe I can find something by dimensions from Marian (fixyouraudio.com).

You can cross reference the sony part numbers in the service manual with the turntableneedles dimensions, if I have time I will find them.

    Edit: “Belt, pulley” https://www.turntableneedles.com/so...xx-square-drive-belt-sbl5.7-sony-3-545-601-xx

    “Belt (A)”
    https://www.turntableneedles.com/so...00-square-drive-belt-sbs3.5-sony-3-507-115-00

    “Belt, tape counter”
    https://www.turntableneedles.com/so...00-square-drive-belt-sbo5.2-sony-3-545-602-00

I remember I had to order the DeckTech kit as Marian does not have one of the required belts, but do check with him as I may be mistaken.

A word of warning: Marian specifies the belts on his site by Diameter, so do remember to convert the dimensions.

    Thanks.

    "Belt, pulley" - X
    "Belt (A)" - https://fixyouraudio.com/product/sq...2-for-cassette-players-and-cd-players-falymc/
    "Belt, tape counter" - d=42mm.
    closest 40mm - https://fixyouraudio.com/product/rubber-belt-40-1-0-mm-square-shaped/

Find dimensions measured by Valentin in another thread, but can't find nothing close from Marian unfortunately.

    Pinch roller - https://fixyouraudio.com/product/pinch-roller-13x8x2mm/

I would buy the parts if they were made available. There are rubber parts already being produced that are sold on eBay(including the T-shaped tire), all the rubber parts except the very small idler tire. But obviously, the ones made by Marian would be better in quality.

I have bought the parts before, and the idler tires are in good shape and size but requires some sanding before putting them on. They have a little lip on the edge seemingly from manufacturing processes. The capstan tire seems to be working good though, but I don't know how long they will last. Also taking the old one off was a PITA.

This is the reason why Marian won't make a new one, since it can't be installed DIY by most people.

What's already available is enough though as usually it's only the 2 thin FF/REW idlers and the belts that really need to be replaced.
The original capstan ring can be sanded and cleaned with IPA thoroughly, usually doesn't require replacment.
What W&F figure the unit can obtain with the new one ?

The W&F I got ranged from 0.12 to 0.08, mostly stabilizing at 0.09, 90% of the time. I used tapes from Duplication.ca, 3000hz.

I talked with, I think, the owner of Russell Industries (PBR Belts) a couple years ago, he said they could make anything. They pretty much supply all the retail in the USA with belts and rollers and they'd definately know if they could make something since they've been around since 1966. Shoot him an email, they might be able to help, he was very helpful to me.

Actually, I went back and checked it again, and I found out that my pinch roller assembly was bent, causing excessive wow. Now I've fixed that the wow went to ranging from 0.06 to 0.03, stabilizing at 0.04. Actually quite impressive. Speed was a little fast as well here on the picture so definitely will need to calibrate that as well.
