Thought everyone might appreciate the conclusion to this thread. Last weekend, I showed the boom box to Kane Hodder who played Jason in "Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan" (1989). Everyone was very impressed and we did this fantastic photo op with Kane dressed as Jason and Robert Englund (aka Freddy Krueger). I later had Kane autograph the top, so even if it doesn't work, it is now my favorite collectible. Thanks again to deech!!! freddy-jason-boombox.jpg IMG_2844.jpeg

Wow, that's a great story, thanks for the photo Hollie, those movies used to scare the stuffin out of me when I was a kid.

Nice work Deech, I can't believe all of that happened, you really stepped up.

You might like this Hollie, I saw John Carpenter, live in concert last year. Yes he played one of the most iconic horror themes of all time, you might know it....

I am a bit late to this conversation but this is the only forum which I've come across were people are talking about this specific boombox.
It has recently come to my possession and it looks exactly like the one from the Friday the 13th movie. I am currently trying to fix it so if anyone has the electrical schematics I would appreciate if you could share them.
Here is a picture of it:

Also, me and a friend of mine have been trying to find the original boombox and manufacturer of the boombox.
We've found that there is a substantial amount of them in the Balkans. I've seen one that is indistinguishable with mine being sold as "TRIDENT CX-106",
this listing was Greek (this is the link to it: https://vendora.gr/items/7o6pq3/tri...ewRUoMtDOm34WZW3TkUemVeB-tT85NosFJJe4fQIN9DRP).

@deech, if you have any extra knowledge on the matter we would really appreciate it if you could share it with us.

Nope I have never seen that exact model before and now that I have seen your pic of it I really do NOT desire it.
