Well I still have two National RX-A2's with their respective speakers. and then I have a Panasonic RX-6400 without the speaker boxes. And then I have a Sharp GF 777 along with a matching Toyota EA900. While I had a Telefunken studio 1A, I sold it to Ernie Marody but then I bought the Italian version, which I can't remember exactly what the name is, but I think it's in a a imperial Telefunken. Hard to explain but I haven't unboxed it since I bought it back in 2018 cuz I have no room to put it. (( ok I went to ebay and found it in my history there, date I bought it Jan 18, 2019 at 7:15 PM for EUR 437.00 29 January 2019 IMPERIAL MINI RACK 250 HIFI BOOMBOX FUNZIONANTE CONSERVATA VINTAGE '80 RADIO Sold by bravomerlo https://www.ebay.com/str/bravomerlo I just need to ship/sell some boomboxs so I can have any room to get this huge thing out as right now it is on the floor in the center of the " radio room " ... )) The only other larger boxes I have is the Conion C-100fj and a Lasonic TRC 975, Just what I still have in boombox's big. here is my Toshiba RT-8700S, present from my good friend @Boodokhan. At first glance it looks like a respectable medium-size AKAI-style boombox with speakers attached by steel clamps: once stationary, handle can be detached and whole thing transformed into French baguette: one extra flip and we have something certifiably goofy: I must admit the first time I saw this combination I did not even realize I am looking at my own Toshiba! before you ask, I did full checkup/disassembly/cleaning but, unfortunately, it looks more powerful than it sounds
Well that's interesting knowing where it went. A long time ago the doctor I believe he's a doctor inquired about getting this Toshiba rt8700 and I had one with the box and all the accessories but because I'm trying to downsize my sizeable collection and I had three of these. I sent him two of them and so evidently he gave you the extra one that I sent him. You can confirm with him that I sent him two of these models. Anyway, I still have a third one that works and I can post a picture if you want to see it. Heck I might even do that in a few moments.
Yeah here's the third third Toshiba rt-8700 also known as the system one. Looks really small in a wide-angle shot from the phone, doesn't it. Oh heck, let me unfold it and see how long it is compared to the c100. okay so for bragging rights if you need something to carry around that's longer than a c100 this is the model to carry. Conion C100FJ underneath the Toshiba rt-8700 decentman4you2007@gmail.com I'll answer any questions. Good day
Yes just google this model in the videos, as I made several of them about this model. It is correct. I got 2 from James and still have one. Another one went to @Jorge who is an amazing friend of mine.
I'm in love, this may be the coolest boombox ever! Found over on Carausell (Malasyia) the Kuairo Boombox Organ https://www.carousell.com.my/p/vintage-radio-1311349787/?
In my opinion, the tweeters are in the wrong position. They should be to the outside not centered in the middle. So the question would be is do these speakers separate from the unit? And are they incorrectly positioned underneath the radio?
Found on a Korean Website.... These are listed for sale as a group, they look like Chinese Made? You can definately see the "influences."
I like the Red Lantern. It has a red, green and orange led. A Chinese clone of the M9994 with the size of a Sharp GF-9494.
Saw it on ebay once. I've been told there is also an example in the Shanghai Radio Museum. It is a rare radio I think, but certainly one worth having.
