Just a thank you for sending my order so rapidly and the case and stickers are super. I have had problems logging in and i set up a new membership application using my e-mail address and you may have had notice of this already .what really wanted was to know if you had the other case still for sale with the red stitching and no plastic for the Walkman Dc2 as i would like to purchase one from you Philip taylor

 

I have since received your reply and not that you do not have any such case .I just saw one in your thread which was on the left of the embossed case DD .This one shows no plastic but red stitching and has in the bottom right Walkman DC2 .Possibly it was photo type Sorry to have messed you around I would be glad if you could resolve nay problem signing in under the E-mail address "elizabeth.taylor@btinternet.com" I reset it numerous times and each time saved the new one but when i type in the e-mail address it shows numerous ones in autofill and all are incorrect and now i cannot reset the password .Hence the reason for the new application which i would be happy to cancel if you wish me too so long as remain a member Sorry for all the trouble Philip

I've just ordered one. I'm already looking forward to taking this with me on vacation in two weeks time. Without a case I would probably not have risked taking one of my DD with me (still to decide which one .

Very nice. I hadn't seen this post earlier. The case was a tad tight for the older DD models with the square edges but perfect for those more curved models like the DD33. After a day or so the case had stretched a little and the older DD will fit and the safety flap with press stud able to close and fasten.

 

Yes, the case was designed to be a snug fit on first use. The leather will naturally stretch with use, like a 2nd skin to the walkman. I look forward to seeing how the leather ages as well, because then it will take on its own unique character.

And they smell so damn good too (Sorry Vegans and Veggies!)

 

The weekend seems to be when orders are placed. I wonder who'll be buying cases this weekend?

 

How is the DD100 project traveling?. Any updates on the custom case and the DOL repro sticker?

Need to sell more of the main cases first before I do anything else.

Plans are drawn and with the workshop.

So will probably list the DD cases on eBay to start shifting them.

Received my case today. After I wasn't able to receive the package initially (only myself to blame for it, no fault of Doublecee) it was re-send very swiftly. Many thanks for the excellent service!

The case itself is very high quality and fits my DC2 very snugly. I'm very pleased with this.
Will send a picture as soon as I can find the time.
